As a philosopher of religion I had always been interested in fasting it by the fundamental questions of life. The goal shifted very quickly from personal awakening to our collective historical awakening. And then it matured beyond that into an adventure and exploring the deep structure of the universe. Some would say the mind of the divine or the mind of God. That's okay except that those terms have kind of a historical theological overlay that I'm not terribly comfortable with.
