Napoleon and Lucian Bonaparte

Lucian bonaparte was a republican, true believer who was not at all happy with his brother's autocratic turn. Napoleon tried to marry lucian off to a spanish princess, but lucian refused and then went into self imposed exile in italy. After years of living under defacto house arrest, he tried to escape to america, but was captured by the british shortly after putting to sea. Lucian lived comfortably in england and then returned to france following the restoration. But at the very end, he decided to support his ther during the hundred days. And so wound up as prescribed by the bourbons after waterloo.
