What Does Data Mean to the Human Condition?
I think about technology first and foremost from the individual human's perspective. Who is the most vulnerable person who could be affected by this system? And I try to imagine myself sitting in their shoes. You know, even when I was overseas working on the Ukraine crisis just a few months ago, everybody and my team of three, all three of us, we were guys. My biggest concern was gender based violence and gender protection. So as technologists, we need to really think about this stuff very hard.
