Positive Laws in the Old Covenant

In Genesis 15, Abram believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness. His justification precedes the circumcision that comes upon him. So there's a recognition that those were laws that were given that were specific to the old covenant. A positive law is something that is in place in its relationship to a particular historical covenant but they have been done away with.
