The Importance of Convenience
I tweeted something the other day. This was what Andy taught me about 76% of 18 to 24 year olds American men would be ineligible to serve in the armed forces because of health or criminal record problems that obesity and other sort of health complications. And I got a bunch of responses explaining why America will be really hard to invade by land. Like the lesson to take away from this issue is that you have a very unready populace, not that there's lots of water in between us and Japan. The problem with convenience is sometimes it gets so convenient, you're complacent. That complacency leads to risk, right? And it happens.
