Are the epigenetic shifts that occurs in one's life basically always passed on or not? The majority, so if you're a guy, you probably have sperm and those have particular modifications on them partly because that's how they end up being spermed. In humans, most of what's important is happening to you during your lifetime. It absolutely doesn't operate like a market get out of jail free card. What we're doing during our own lifetimes is the important bit on the whole.
