Power is simply no longer that theatrical reality to which modernity accustomed us. The storming of the winter palace was a once in a century historical moment and only worked because it overthrew karenskis government, not czar or polsruvix. Power doesn't reside in institutions there are only deserted temples decommissioned fortresses nothing but stage sets real traps to revolutionaries.
