Drug Farms in the 20th Century

The 19 30 saw the advent of narcotic farms, the first major one being out in lexington, kentucky. The thing is, doctors also set up labs there, while funding rained down from the government. And sociologists studied the drugs and junkeys lying around the place. There were occasional aa and later n a meetings there, but very little recovery as we would know it to day. Other than lexington, most junkeys had to dry out in jail or in hospitals such as new york's belleview.
