Learning Recall in the Classroom

I would say that the first bit is about presentation. It's almost like implanting of ideas. And then after that, you need practice and making things more automatic. I think that probably a lot of teachers recognize that this is what you do. Some things basically you have very little choice and you essentially have to rope memorize. At some level, if there's no way out, you should just suck it up. If there’s no way out,. you should just slam through it. This is my approach, my view on rote memorization.
