The Importance of Social Isolation in Child Learning
Children have taken a hit in their self-efficacy, according to the study. If you want children to engage with that learning, they've got to feel that they're capable of being successful. Children get so much from peer-to-peer contact and watching what other children are attempting to do and engaging with. And when you're at home and you're learning on your own or you're learning maybe with your parents, that social comparison with other children who are like you gets stripped away. All you're left with is yourself and the online work that you've been set by your teacher.
