There's a growing body of research around this generally with adults, but then increasingly with young people in schools. It looks at things like how the human brain is designed to help us survive, but with a very specific remit to do that for life threatening situations. So we learn how to work skillfully with that. And then you also learn about how stress or other anxiety, the emotional response to stress can be really helpful in terms of motivation and giving you energy. But it can also quickly tip over into something that isn't helpful - particularly when you're trying to learn material through questions.
