"I just kind of went through the motions and all right I gotta do what I gotta do," he says. "Most of the time the guys were just like you know kidding around and like laughing and like not taking the shoot seriously." He adds that Twisted Sister's manager called him up saying they wanted to use his photos for their album cover, which was a big deal at the time. The band spent 12 13 hours doing it over two days with no makeup or make-up on either side as well as some individuals who would show up in different poses. It took them about an hour after everyone else had left before frontman Tom Araya started chanting 'stay hungry' during one song.
