Tatum says there is a lack of communication between people designing and making this technology and e people who use signe languages. She adds that the signing community should be the ones who wear these centres on them in order to be understood by non signers. Tatum: We really cannot recommend enough the importance, as well as the benefits, of a having this interaction with signing communities when we're trying to do research into space.
