The Intersection Between Abstract Thought and Spatial Thought
We all have a spatial sense of the world, and we kind of understand spatially as we're like biking around. When we feel good, we stand straight; when we feel bad, we slump. We can see that in other people instantaneously if they're up or down so we even use up and down to describe mood. So it comes naturally in gesture. And again, spatial thinking is evident in our language and gestures are something that come early in our life. But also helps other people to understand thought and help us make better decisions.
