How Do You Separate the Offense From Feeling Offended?

I think there's a lot of teachers that have stories like this, where they just feel like am they've been working with their students. You know, you something happend you're just like, this is what teachings all about. I remember last junea, when i came across a pole that showed that, i think it was 76 % of americans had told the pole s that systemic racism exists in its huge problem. And so i try to think about the why, which then allows me to separate the offensive comment from feeling offended.
