I'll Be Leaving, but I Want to Do It in C++

AJ: Mer was an engineer in the sense that he was able to build that software and get it to run on a system that was hardly capable of doing that. But then he took it a couple of steps beyond and actually created optimizations that were not required or not necessarily required, again, just because he could. He produced what he considered to be more beautiful software which made it almost impossible for anybody else to actually understand what the software was doing on the inside. Mel: I pity the person who would need to support that software after I left.
