The Perfect Form of Communication
Peters: Is there a kind of perfect dialogue that is possible? We somehow manage to circumvent the subjective nature of language. When I describe a pain to someone, like a doctor or a friend, anything like that, what that person is understanding is never the same as what I want them to understand. angels for pain, on the other hand, are able to actually communicate without the messiness because they are disembodied. They just can map onto one another in a perfect way.
