What Is It Like to Be a Writer?

Lucy Barton, the main character in "Lister," is a writer and an introspective person. I wanted to ask if that's your experience of writing as well. You know, so much about this show, we talk about empathizing with others. In that way, that paragraph is Lister out and Lucy together. Otherwise, she's Lucy and I'm Lister out. But that paragraph is what makes me want to be a writer,. always seeking, always trying to find out what it's like to be another person.
