The Italian Sandwich

Italian immigrants started to cater to this by inventing the italian sandwich. In 19 16, an irish american folk and submarine was touring a museum in New Jersey. A local grocer made special bread that was the right size for these sandwiches but he didn't have a name for it. So dominic canty walks into the museum, sees the ira submarine, and then says to himself, that ir a submarine looks a bit like the bread that i'm making. I think i'm going to call this bread a sub so that's why subway is called subway,. And now, in 20 22, the irish government have decided that subway subs are not legally called bread.
