How to Preserve Your Fuel Economy in an EV Truck

Light Shift has developed a range assist system for trailers. It uses an EV battery plus a small motor that is onboard the trailer and drives the wheels of the trailer so that the trailer is helping the tow vehicle or is basically compensating for its own weight or for its own drag. A force sensor in the hitch between the two vehicles helps ensure that the trailer isn't going to push the truck when it's being towed.
