I played the old evil grandmother in A production with full Kabuki makeup that I did myself by the way, I want to see pictures I have one somewhere. It was an American actually French director interpretation of what Kabuki was with a comedic slant on it. When we returned to our native countries, it was hard because at that point you don’t belong in Japan and you don't belong in your native country.
