I don't think I understand what it means to be no smarter than human. Current AI systems are often superhuman in specific ways, right? Like, you know, even deep blue, the old chess playing engine was superhuman applying chess,. And then you have something like chat GPT, which is superhuman in the sense that it's read more information than any human has ever read. A better way to say this is solves problems the way a human solves them. Many of these are very superhuman. So not at all how humans do it.
