What Are the Implications of the Bacteria?

Up to 30% of the nitrogen our plant gets can, at least as far as the research so far that I've been able to see, can come from this internal nitrogen fixing. And eventually what happens is you get so many of these bacteria, because they multiply every 20 minutes, that they back up against the cell wall of the root meristem. Their ethylene is concentrated and causes root hairs to grow. So if you don't have a healthy bacteria population, you're not going to have a lot of root hairs. You might have root hairs but you won't have as many. The implications to this are pretty important for growers.
