The Importance of Monitoring Vulnerabilities
I think people still struggle with the basics. Like, are most people able to respond in five minutes if they see the root key used? More than likely they have a delay of 10 or 15 minutes waiting for cloud trail to report that to S3. So then this Splunk alert can fire off. I think we miss that feedback loop so often. That it's it becomes like we probably could build on top of the logging and monitoring and get beyond the fundamentals.
