The Miners and the Schoolhouse of the Mines
Every miner who was walking the picket line that day lived. Two of the striking miners and pinky avry, tried to go back in and an ill fated rescue attempt,. They were hailed as heroes, fools, but still heroes. The house had been ransacked. Flies buzzed about her face and bulging eyes. She felt like a rabbit being hunted by her daddy's old blue tics. Annie began to call for sarah, praying that whoever or whatever had done this had not found her ten-year-old daughter.
