The idea that lectins are bad sort of was born to some degree. 99% of lectins disappear with simple cooking with the beans, like not pressure cooker. If you buy canned beans, they've already been boiled. You just rinse them, like you said. So I think it's one of these things that you can sell a book. It's a lot of hype, right? And you can hype it up.
