There was a whole period of deference about how you treated the royal family. The BBC didn't really want to go near any of it, because we thought it was all a bit exaggerated and this was a bit tabloid,. not for us. And then suddenly the realisation, holy crap, this is real and it's serious. And where does this go next? We wondered about having a spoiler alert at the top of this episode, and then we decided that was kind of weird... But there are some things that happen in the drama which we particularly wanted to look at in a sort of fact or fiction way.
