The Greek Ideal of Friendship
Paul says to count others as more significant than yourselves. The right mindset leads us to the right pursuit of, I'm not just pursuing my own selfish desires,. As a friend, I'm going to put your interests ahead of my interests. That wouldn't be a good way to be a friend to you.
