The Inconsistency of the Sun

The sun is an ellipse, right? All the orbits orEllipses and other ideas that they come up with. To me, it seems like an out of balance thing. If it was a perfect circle, it should be 360 and yet it's not. The clock is doing what the clock is supposed to do.
