Maldonato's Story
Signorita maldonato was captured by a group of spaniards. They told her she would be allowed to stay with them unharmed. She quickly found a place in this community too, doing whatever job needed to be done. Life was good until trouble arrived like a thief in the night. The colonists were outnumbered 20 to one and didn't know it. But they did not know that the spanish had made enough noise from the trees and fired their weapons,. making it look like a fighting force multiple times their size was advancing with the hunters away. That is how Maldonado awoke to a nearly empty village.
