Are We More Merciful?

In times past, or in some circles of christianity, a mercy kind of gets applied to the wrong scenarios. So like mercy, it's not merciful for you to be ignoring injustice. When we talk about mercy, i'm not talking about ignoring systemic injustices that are harming people. In those instances, god is calling us to be a people of truth and honesty.
