The Impact of Divorce on Children
Each era takes a slightly different oach to parenting as well. Each time a new parenting philosophy is promoted, we can be sure it is a counter move against what didn't work before. We now know how to speak to our children differently than the initial understanding. These are modifications of that whole model. But think about how parents are just victims, right of whatever the popular psychology, in parlance, is of the era they live in. So whenever you had kids, you are being influenced in countless invisible ways to adopt one or another perspective. I want use the balance of this podcast to illustrate some of what this feels like through an experience.
