Mabe: I saw m that li bardugo gave some really nice praise about this book, and i just want to read it. But she said that this book, the story, is so believable in its magic, you'll be keeping one eye on your shadow as you turn the pages. Mabe: What drew you into wanting to make this an adult book? Instead of sort of discovering things for the first time, you have charlie, who's been through it several times.
