Roland Martin: Most investors are keenly aware of risk. They hire risk managers, and they adjust the returns for risk. Luck, though, it tends to get swept on the rug. We don't talk no one adjusts their returns for luck. No one hires luck managers,. But luck and risk are pretty much the exact same thing. Both just this idea that there are things that can happen in the world outside of your control that will have a bigger impact on outcomes than anything you intentionally did. And so when you realize that ghoes ae the same thing, you realize that there is a lot of luck and risk in the world.
