The Evolution of Life

The idea that we have survived at all is a miracle. That miracle has an explanation, namely the drivenness of the organisms involved. We don't know anything about this, we can't emulate it. So there are some people who think that we can emulate human intelligence by emulating the processes of evolution which led to human intelligence. But those people do not realize that evolution is massively more complicated than intelligence. If we understood intelligence, then we would need to go around this incredibly difficult cycle.
