What's the Difference Between State Facilities and Private Corporations?
Marion County bought up all of these, this like chain of for-profit nursing homes. And now it sort of like owns, I think 78 facilities. The county can then build a huge hospital in Indianapolis that costs $754 million. It came from them siphoning off of all of the nursing home payments.
