Not all data is created equal. Not all data needs the same rigor that you're talking about. I think the impact of the decisions and the seriousness of the story really decides a bit more rigor around where did that information come from. Anyone can just build, pull some data from some system,. No problem. Let's move on. In reality, costs have increased more than 30%. So there could be other things that are a factor here that the story is not comprehensive.
