The Texas desert is home to a wide variety of plants, including purple ryolitic gravel and Delia neo Mexicana. There's also Nerysirinia Camporum, one of the most common mustards in West Texas. "I want you to be able to listen to this and hear these plants with a sense of humor like myself," says photographer John Defterios.
