Do You Owe That Person Confidentiality?
James Carville: Revealing a confidential source is one of the most precarious things that anyone in journalism can ever do. He says if it ends up that Mr. McGonagall was really working for the Russians at the time he was planning that story or circulating that story, then I think there's a very strong case that that source ought to be identified. And again, the consensus among people that we know, not all partisan Democrats, right, historians, you know, how previously, how ranking government officials say the potential for this thing is just unimaginable.
