What Is an Analytics Engineer?

There's a new role in town called analytics engineer. A person that speaks tech towards translating data to insights for different aspects of the company. Data engineers are often building applications, they're responsible for like a lot of very technical infrastructure and requires computer science foundations. An analytics engineer works with data as a machine generates it; an analyst largely works with data that as a business understands it. The job is actually to answer questions with data and you don't need technology to be able to do that well.
