In high school, i don't even oght to be myself. The anxiousness that i felt while serving actually kept me from pursuing it competitively. And so the idea the thing i cared most about was this other part of me that was just crippled by being consumed with what others were thinking. It's a really painful experience to be caught in the consumption of what another person might be thinking.
