Risk Factors in Climate Change
Risk factors are things that can't kill us directly. But then can kill us through some indirect mechanism. The idea, as i think of it, is that there are certain things which are exitential risks. These include an asteroid or super volcano and climate change. If we got rid of the chance of great powers going to war with each other? What if we could eliminate that risk? How different would the total existential risk be over the coming century if we say, instead of having the world as it is, we could just press a button and make it so that there was definitely no great power war? My view on that is that it would remove something like a tenth of that risk
