JP Morgan Chase and Bear Stearns Financial Advisors

Bear Stearns was an investment bank and Wall Street broker that was one of the early dominoes to fall during the 2008 financial crisis. It ended up being acquired by JP Morgan in a deal that was orchestrated by the US government to bail out Bear Stearns essentially. And 14 years on, they're still having teething problems with integrating this business. So it's not a harmonious relationship all the time. The root reason why is that it's a result of the way the modern day JP Morgan Chase has been built over many decades.
