Social Conservatives, Conservative Populists, and Suburban Swing Voters
The republican party is now a party where you cannot necessarily be a free trader in the classical sense. It's more the idea of big brother versus big government. Any viable candidate that is to compete and ultimately win a presidential primary in 20 24 for the g o p, needs to be this pugilistic, almost culture warrior with both social conservatives and these conservative populists.
