On the original newscast, the guy gets it wrong there. He doesn't say Dan Cooper. He says D.A. Cooper. So he jumps. And from this point on, there's a lot of speculation because we don't know for certain that he deployed his shoot. But in all reality, this story doesn't really pick up again with anything conclusive until the year 1980. A young boy by the name of Brian Ingram uses his hand like a rake in the sand to prepare an area for a fire pit and finds money.
