Antiretroviral Side Effects and Adverse Effects
Some antiretrovirals are linked to excessive weight gain. Excessive weight gain is usually defined as gaining more than 10% of your ideal body weight. Another side effect that we pay a lot of attention to are metabolic complications. We want to make sure patients who are now anticipated to live a normal lifespan.
