What Old People Want Young People to Think About?

There are two models of dystopian society. Orwell brought up a model of totalitarian society that we can easily recognize. Huxley's model is where people consume like crazy and basically have a good life. What old people want young people to think about? We're now once again demonizing China, maybe preparing for the end of all wars,. which would be war with China, and possibly Russia.
