This first came to me in the very, very early days of the internet before the World Wide Web. What I noticed way back then in the early, early 90s was that there were people who had decided opinions about Kant because Ayn Rand had opinions about Kant and they just echoed her opinions. And when I helped teach the introductory to ethics class, one of the books that we were teaching from was a groundwork to the metaphysical morals by a manual Kant.
