Neanderthals and Covid
A recent paper came out suggesting a person's risk from Covid could be down to Neanderthal genes that they carry tell us more. Homo sapiens and Neanderthals perhaps had a common ancestor between 500,000 and 750,000 years ago. Evidence has been found everywhere from Gibraltar all the way to the Altai Mountains right in Siberia.
