Rainbow Socks - A Symbol of Pride
The local netball team called the Tigers, wears a special pride dress with a rainbow design to show their support for LGBT QIA plus people. The netballers say their pride dresses send a message that everybody is accepted. And now other teams in the contest have joined in too. They've started wearing rainbow socks. Sometimes people are mean to others who stand out like rainbows. That's why wear at Purple Day is so important. It's a day to show your support for rainbow kids and their families. We all shouldn't be bullied and it's good to be yourself.
